My first time,,,,

 Helooooooooo, hari  ini saya mau  cerita tentang pertama kali saya ke Singapore.

Saya ke Singapore tujuannya emang mau liburan dan karena kakek saya juga yang nyuruh kesana, yang pasti seneng lah disuruh kesana buat liburan, lagian dibayarin pula hhhha :p.

Saya kesana sama kakak saya ( Farah ) just both of us. Perasaannya deg-deg an dicampur sama takut, karena pergi kesana cuma kita dan ini pengalaman pertama pergi ke luar negeri tanpa orang tua.

Kita berangkat dari bandara Soekarno-Hatta. Pas   

                 

nyampe di bandara, kita langsung cari terminalnya, udah gitu kita langsung masukin barang-barang kita dan kita dapet boarding pass, trus kita langsung masuk dan kita tunggu di dalem, karena musti 2jam sebelum keberangkatan kita harus udah disana.

Setelah perjalanan ya kurang lebih 1 jam lebih, akhirnya tiba juga deh di SINGAPORE, yeeeeah \(^^)/.

Semua sodara-sodara udah pada nunggu, sebenernya sih maluuuu, karena udah hampir 12 tahun saya ga ke Singapore.

Hari pertama di Singapore, saya dan kakak saya pergi kerumah tante saya dan saya tinggal disana. Saya sangat beruntung punya tante-tanten yang sangat baik. Mereka yang ajakin kita pergi buat mengelilingi kota Singapore. Saya diajakin ke Bugis, disana tempat belanja accessories yang serba muraaaaaaaaaaaah, trus saya juga dibawa ke Orchad Road, sebenernya disana sih tempatnya mahal- mahal tapi tante saya beliin barang-barang disana juga.Saya juga mengunjungi Little India, I love that place, disana barang-barangnya bagus banget saya bisa beli gelang, and baju. Tapi, tiap masuk ke toko-toko di Little India bau dupaaaaaa alias menyan gitu, ya mereka kan hindu. Saya juga pergi ke Arab street pokoknya masih banyak tempat yang saya kunjungi, karena saya tinggal disana hampir 1 bulan.

Saya sangat suka tinggal di Singapore, biarpun kota kecil tapi disana sangat disiplin, bersih, beraturan. Tempat – tempatnya juga bagus, bersih, bahkan klo kita buang sampah sembarangan kita didenda.

I love Singapore, saya betaaaaaah banget tinggal disana, pengennya sih kerja disana sambil kuliah juga hhhhe.

Modals

Modals or modal auxiliary verbs, are special verb having several characteristics different from other verbs. The most frequently used modals are can, may, must, shall, will and their past tense form could, might, should and would.
Their special characteristics are as follows :

• They are always finite. This means that they can never be preceded by any other verbs in a verb group. We can never fin

• They have no-s-forms for the third person singular :

*He cans go

• They are followed by invinitive without to :

  I can do it now
*I can to do it now

• The past tense forms do not normally indicate past time.

Observe :
  Could you come tomorrow ?
*Could you come yesterday ?
  He might come next week
*He might come last week

• They have more then one meaning, compare :

 I can do it (ability, meaning, 'dapat')
Can I read it ? (permission, meaning, 'bolehkah')
You must go now. (obligation, meaning 'harus')
She must be here now. (certainty, meaning 'pasti')

These modals may have different forms for their different meanings with different time refernce. Sometimes their negatives have different forms from their positives.

Teori Kepribadian

1. Pengertian Teori Kepribadian

Kata teori dapat diartikan sebagai model tentang kenyataan yang membantu kita untuk memahami, menjelaskan, memprediksi, dan mengontrol tentang kenyataan tersebut ( C. George Boeree, 2005: 1). Adapun kepribadian merupakan terjemahan dari bahasa inggris personality. Kata personality sendiri berasal dari bahasa Latin persona yang berarti topeng yang digunakan oleh para aktor dalam suatu permainan atau pertunjukan.
Ada beberapa para ahli mengemukakan mengenai pengertian kepribadian, yaitu :

• Hall & Lindzey mengemukakan bahwa secara populer, kepribadian dapat diartikan sebagai; 1) keterampilan atau kecakapan sosoial ( social skill), dan 2) kesan yang paling menonjol, yang ditunjukkan seseorang terhadap orang lain.
• Woodworth mengemukakan bahwa kepribadian merupakan " kualitas tingkah laku total individu".
• Dashiel mengartikannya sebagai "gambaran total tentang tingkah laku individu yang terorganisasi".
• Derlega, Winstead & Jones (2005) mengartikannya sebagai "sistem yang relatif stabil mengenai karakteristik individu yang bersifat internal, yang berkontribusi terhadap pikiran, perasaan, dan tingkah laku yang konsisten". 
• Alport mengemukakan pendapatnya tentang pengertian kepribadian ini, yaitu "personality is the dynamic organization within the individual of those psychophysical systems that determine his unique adjustment to his environment" ( kepribadian merupakan organisasi yang dinamis dalam diri individu tentang sistem psikofisik yang menentukkan penyesuaiannya yang unik terhadap lingkungannya). 

Passive Voice

Hey, I'd like to explaining about passive voice.

What is passive voice ?

The passive voice is a grammatical construction (specifically, a "voice"). The noun or noun phrase that would be the object of an active sentence (such as Our troops defeated the enemy) appears as the subject of a sentence with passive voice.( sourced by www.wikipedia.com ) 

• In passive sentece, if you want to say who did or what caused by the action, use by. 

e.g : This house was built by my grandfather
         Have you ever been bitten by dog ?

• In passive senteces we use the correct form of be ( am, are, is, was, were, been, being, and be ) + the past particple 
• To change active into passive, the object of active verb becomes the subject in the new setence. The active verb changes into a passive form and the subject of the active verb becomes the agent which is either introduced with by or is ommited. The passive can be used only with transitive verbs ( verbs which take an object such as give, write take, open, etc ).

e.g : The mayor opened the new school ( active )
         The new school was opened by the mayor. ( passive ) - by the mayor is agent

• With verbs that take two objects, it is more usual to begin the passive sentece with a person.

e.g : They offered Ann a job ( active )
         Anna was offred a job. ( passive )

• Make, hear, help, see are followed by a to - infinitive in the passive.

e.g : They helped him tidy the garage. ( active )
         He was helped to tidy the garage. ( passive )

• The vebrs believe, expect, feel, hope, know, report, say, think, etc, are used in the following passive patterns in personal and impersonal contructiopns.

e.g : People believe he is a liar . ( active)
         He is believed to be a liar . ( passive - personal contruction )
         It is believed that he is a liar. ( passive - impersonal contruction )

• We use be + past particpe or have been  + past particple after modal verbs ( will, can, may, etc )

e.g : He can't repair the lock. ( active )
         The lock can't be repaired. ( passive )
         They may have painted the house. ( active )
         The house may have been painted. ( passive )

• In passive questions with who/whom/which we do not omit by.

e.g : Who gave this book ? ( active )
         Who were you given this book by ? ( passive )
